Below are scheduled trips for 2024 in the Okefenokee Swamp and the rivers of Southeast Georgia/Northeast Florida. You can sign up as an individual or with your family, friends, or group! All trips are dependent on water levels and/or river conditions.
3 Hour Guided Boat Tour (West Side of Okefenokee)
On this tour guided by a local, experienced Naturalist, you’ll ride in comfort on a small skiff that can handle the twists and turns of the beautiful Middle Fork of the Suwannee in Okefenokee. Soak in the beauty of famous Billy’s Lake, the enchanting scenery of the Middle Fork Run, and hop out to explore historic Billy’s Island with your guide! $100.00 per person (plus tax). Complimentary water and snacks included.

- Okefenokee Swamp Camping Trips -
3 Day Swamp Trip: Saturday, Oct. 19th - Monday, Oct. 21st
On this trip in the wilderness of America’s largest blackwater swamp, you’ll have an unforgettable experience with a local naturalist to guide you! I’ve already obtained the permits, and I provide all the camping gear, canoes, paddling gear, and food, so all you have to do is sign up!
ITINERARY:
19th (Saturday) - We’ll meet at Stephen C. Foster State Park, load our canoes, and head out! We’ll head “up” the Swamp, 9 miles to Floyd’s Island, our first night’s stop. Who wants s’mores?
20th (Sunday) - After a hearty breakfast, we’ll load the canoes and head back the way we came, but instead of going into the state park, we’ll pass it to go to our second island camp- Mixons Hammock. Today’s paddle will be 11 miles.
21st (Monday) - Rise and shine! Time to head to the Narrows - the passage to the Suwannee River Sill. We’ll paddle just 3 miles, and then we’ll shuttle back to the state park and say our goodbyes, after 3 amazing days in the Okefenokee Swamp!

FEE: $450.00 per person (plus tax) - all inclusive: fee covers boats*, gear, meals, guidance, interpretation, and federal permit fees

These trips are for those who want to experience TRUE wilderness and a trip of a lifetime in the grand Okefenokee Swamp! Come watch the Quadrantids Meteor Shower with us deep in the Okefenokee Swamp, one of the best wildernesses on the east coast for a stargazing trip!

St. Marys River Camping Trips
Accomodation: Tent camping
Trip Description: On this short and easy trip on the beautiful St. Marys River, we’ll put in from Trader’s Hill Boat Ramp, south of Folkston, GA, and paddle upriver against the easy and slow current to our sandbar home for the night. Learn about this blackwater river’s ecology and history as you go with your local naturalist guide! After we set up camp, feel free to swim, cast a line, or simply relax at camp! After a hearty dinner, campfire, fun, and a filling breakfast the next morning, we’ll float back downstream to our vehicles at Traders Hill. This is a great trip for new paddle campers!
$200.00 plus tax per person if needing to rent a canoe/kayak, $170.00 plus tax if bringing your own kayak/canoe/SUP
Trip fee includes paddling instruction, guidance, naturalist interpretation, camping gear* and necessities, meals and snacks, dry bags, and FUN!
*Campers may bring their own tent, sleeping bag, and/or sleeping pad

Suwannee River Camping Trips
Accomodation: Tent camping (screened in building at Woods Ferry River Camp)
Trip Description: On this trip, we’ll paddle 24 miles of the iconic Suwannee River from White Springs to the Spirit of the Suwannee Music Park, camping at the Woods Ferry River Camp halfway through. 12 mile paddles each day. Learn about this blackwater river’s ecology and history as you go with your naturalist guide! After we set up camp, feel free to swim, cast a line, or relax at camp. Float past sandbars, bluffs, karst, and springs on this 2 day adventure on one of the South’s most beloved rivers!
$375.00 plus tax per person if needing to rent a canoe/kayak, $345.00 plus tax if bringing your own
Trip requires a 2 person minimum
Trip fee includes paddling instruction, guidance, naturalist interpretation, shuttle fee, camping gear* and necessities, meals and snacks, dry bags, and FUN!
*Campers may bring their own tent, sleeping bag, and/or sleeping pad

DEPOSIT and CANCELLATION POLICY
50% of a trip's fee must be paid within 60 days of the date of a trip, with the final payment being made within the final 30 days to the trip date. At least 72 hours advance notice must be given to receive a full refund. For cancellations within 72 hours of the start of a trip, 50% of the trip cost must be charged and 50% of the trip cost may be applied to a future trip within two years. In the event of needing to cancel a trip due to severe inclement weather, a full refund will be issued.
